Multiplexes and schools will be closed in Gujarat till 29 March

Chief Secretary Anil Mukim said that the state government has taken some important decisions as a precautionary measure and precautionary measures against the corona virus in the state.

Gujarat Government has been active in preventing the spread of corrosive corona virus in Gujarat, including India. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Bhai Patel held a high-level meeting to devise a strategy to fight the Corona virus. Following the meeting, Principal Secretary Anil Dapim and Health Principal Secretary Dr. Jayanti Ravi held a press conference. In which, Chief Secretary Anil Dapim said, “The state government has taken some important decisions as a precautionary measure and precautionary measures against the corona virus in the state.” All schools, colleges, courtyards, theaters and swimming pools will be closed from March 16 to March 29 in the state. However, in the meantime the board exams will continue as per usual.

 

Meanwhile, Jayanti Ravi, the Principal Secretary to the Health Department, also suggested that those with corona virus symptoms and fever get help by reporting the helpline number 104 of the Government of Gujarat Health Department. It has also been decided to close all theaters, swimming pools and tuition classes in Gujarat for two weeks.
